This DIY pore reducer works so well because of the ingredients it contains. A mix of baking soda, lemon juice, sugar, and olive oil, ensure that your skin is properly exfoliated, thus reducing large, stubborn pores. The baking soda is an amazing cleanser and exfoliator which also works as a brightener. Lemon juice shrinks the pores due to its acidity and also lightens dark spots and stains. Sugar removes dead skin cells, revealing ultra smooth skin, while the olive oil calms and moisturizes the skin.
You’ll Need:
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tbsp olive oil
Directions:
- In a medium size bowl, mix all ingredients together until well combined.
- Apply all over face and neck and scrub in slow, circular motions.
- Leave on for 15-20 minutes and rinse off.
- Pat dry and follow up with a moisturizer.
I like to use this twice a week to reduce my large pores, and it works amazingly! I wouldn’t recommend using it more than twice a week because baking soda and lemon juice can be a little irritating, especially if you have sensitive skin.
