NEVER FALL SICK AGAIN! THIS SYRUP RECIPE CAN CURE A COLD OR FLU IN 2 DAYS
You should often use elderberries during the winter and the cold days. Namely, these berries are loaded with substances that effectively boost the immune system, and fight the flu and colds.
One of the most powerful remedies that you can use to naturally support your health and prevent illnesses and diseases is the elderberry syrup.
Black elderberries have been found to be ones of the strongest weapons against colds and flu, as well as various minor illnesses. Moreover, they accelerate the recovery time and relieve the symptoms.
They are rich in vitamins A, B, and C, and their potential to fight the flu and colds is due to the complex sugars they contain.
“That elderberry disarms the enzyme viruses that use to penetrate healthy cells in the lining of the nose and throat found Dr. Madeleine Mumcuoglu, of Hadassah-Hebrew University in Israel. It prevents infections taken before infection.
Taken after infection, it prevents spread of the virus through the respiratory tract. In a clinical trial, 20% of the study subjects reported significant improvement within 24 hours, 70% by 48 hours, and 90% claimed complete cure in three days. In contrast, subjects receiving the placebo required 6 days to recover.”
Here is the recipe for an elderberry syrup that will help you prevent the flu:
Ingredients:
⅔ cup dried black Elderberries (if you use powdered elderberries, you’ll need half a cup)
2 tablespoons fresh or dried ginger root
½ teaspoon cloves or clove powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1 cup raw honey
3½ cups of water
Instructions:
In a saucepan, mix all the ingredients, except for the honey. Boil the mixture and leave it to simmer for 40minutes. Then, remove the saucepan from the heat, leave the mixture to cool, and mash the berries. Strain, sweeten the liquid with honey, and your syrup is done!
You can omit the honey, or replace it with nutrient-rich molasses and maple syrup. Children should take half a teaspoon or a teaspoon of it, and adults should take ½ tablespoon to 1 tablespoon daily.
If stored in the fridge the syrup usually lasts for a few weeks, but depending on the container, it can be kept up to a few months.
Make sure you use organic elderberries and harvest the berries only, not the leaves and stems. Choose Mountain Rose Herbs and Amazon if you order elderberries online.
